I have now pulled my original comments, as I feel they were unjustified. I did ask the MOD to unlock the thread to make the changes. As I said, Pop's is still a member of the crew, and I put my hands up to appologise for the negative comments.Last edited by Test Pilot; 21 August 2007, 20:27.Comment

We were steaming off Belfast lough when approached by a Royal Navy Helicopter which asked us to identify ourselves..perfectly natural if you have a foreign warship in your waters...his reply was 'tell him to **** off or I'll shoot him down'

ah there was the time he was a gueet at the XO's wedding....made some derogatory comment regarding the bride...all got out of hand bit of a melee... and compensation changed hands!

No. I decided it best not to begin heading down a road that would end up bringing a mans career into disrepute, particularly when he isn't here to defend himself.
