Yup there used to be a milk supplement for calves years ago called Maverick it came from that and the fact that the guys from Cobh could go home for their mammies milk everynight!...while the rest of who had to 'live in' got home far less.

I think what stu is saying is that Sub Lt Fox Joined the NS as a cadet, but under the new system on commissioning, cadets who are already graduates of another 3rd level institution get promoted directly to Sub, rather than ensign, and don't have to go to college again when the finish in NMCI.
