HMS Tyne in town

HMS Tyne is moored at Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin, -- a River class offshore fishery patrol vessel. Modern, interesting arrangement -- one of three on a five year lease from Vosper Thorneycroft.

I saw one of her sister ships this morning, HMS Mersey anchored in the Solent.

I beleive sadly the last 3 Naval vessels to be built by Vosper at the former Southampton Yard, On the very site of the famous Supermarine factory.
