anyhow i'm in a hotel all this week [Liz is footing the bill] watching Warship for the first time - the Navy AND the Marines are still a weird bunch but it's not bad.

On the subject of warships. HMS Daring had been in port for two days.

The blasted rain has been that heavy, I couldn't get down to take a few pics :-(

You can't get Channel 5 in the Republic.

You can get it if you live near the sea in the south east.

This series is based around HMS Bulwark and it was quite interesting to get an insight into this vessel.

You can't get Channel 5 in the Republic.
