    could we go as invited guests moggy as we won the shooting trophy once ..i wonder is it still in the mess on eithne...that is a great trip and to say a lot of drink is consumed is an under statement..

          Only intermittant ais coming through,seems to have cleared Scotland doing a steady 10-11 knots,on scenic(and weathery) route to Kiel.

              Thanks,bet that Irish reg trawler on her bow wont have reckoned on meeting Eithne in those waters. Have you ever sailed up there,probably lots of daylight this time of year.

                  a place that you pray hard that the steering motors dont pack in we could feel the currents pushing us back as we went through..

                          .The Eithne left Kiel today at 17:00 CEST and is travelling through the Kiel Canal. Due in Hamburg tomorrow morning (Friday) at 09:00 CEST.
