Regarding the Vard video, I assume the 16 Surface to Surface missiles should be 16 Surface to Air missiles and the 8 Ship to Ship missiles are Surface to Surface missiles? Hopefully their attention to detail on design is better than on their video...

Not necessarily. SSM could be LACM like NSMs, whle Ship to ship can be something like RBS15 or Exocet. The RAM is the Surface to Air missile. Remember it's a jack of all trades. VLS can give you a wide range of options, depending on the mission.Originally posted by ias View Post

Why not, the first of the P50s will reach the 30 year mark by the end of this decade. If we think of a 2-3 year tender process and then 3-4 years build after the order then we are looking at next year as the latest to start the whole process.Originally posted by na grohmiti View Post
