                        Yeah, interesting Point. At the moment we have 3 types of primary armament. Most recently the P20 class was Upgraded to Bofors 40mm L70 from L60.

                        The P40 and P50 class both are equipped with the 76mm Oto-Melara.

                        Eithne is the oddity with her Bofors 57mm(which matches the performance of the 76mm in the Dual Role)

                          Refitting with a 76mm oto melara would be too cost prohibitive..given at the time of the last purchase of the weapon...the army were crying at the cost of fitting them to a new build ship...imagine the reaction if they wanted to retrofit one...
