With the attitude you're displaying irldel, you wouldn't make it past an interview board. Even if you did, you'd be mince meat in days with your immaturity & inability to take a slagging. You're the one who's upped the 'ante' & couldn't take a joke! Go off and grow up and read a small bit to learn about the PDF. Otherwise my sentiments are with the others... clear off.

lol..That I would love to see.....if Able still retains the same proportions as I rememeber him to...

irdel..attitude change big time....ships are very enclosed spaces to live in..if you get wound up on something as big as the internet..may be a different carreer choice may be a good idea...attitude will only get you some very unhappy times in small spaces. Engage brain before opening mouth.

Having read the apology....I accept the reason you offered it..but as Bill Hicks said....too little too late.....'

Just see how many people formed an opinion..not even those who replied before your apology was posted.. the guy who the post was made against has not yet read it so he still sees it as a hostile intent..in life think my friend..its not always as easy 'I'm sorry I was having a bad day.....'

Personally I don't give a shit..been there done that and have a good idea what the life you seek is like as do some of those who you have pissed off. Maybe if you were a little less idealistic and more accepting of what people have to offer you might get a little further as others have done in the past.

I don't care whether you get there or not..whether you ever even get accepted but I do know there are those there who will not tolerate stupidity for stupiditys sake. Just take a deep breath..stand back and maybe try again..

Recruits dont go to sea unless the class officer makes them go on a sea week ( 5 days onboard the eithne) I spent 5 days on it and did loads of cleaning.

As the adverts say "a life less ordinary" and I can definatley say thats 100% true.

                              Career

                              Hi guys

I am considering a career in the navy and was wondering if anyone can give me an overlay of what navy life is like. I've read all there is to read on the internet and just wanted to get it from the horses mouth so to speak
