This is a fantastic sequence of tweets, where HMS Tyne carried out a RAS exercise with L.E. George Bernard Shaw. More of this sort of thing please.
What a fantastic two days!

Our exercise with the LÉ George Bernard Shaw is now complete and we’re both heading our separate ways.
But what did we get up to you ask...?

Agree. Training and inter-operating with other navies brings skills and knowledge. Nice to see Tyne recovered from the MOD dustbin, recommissioned and performing with zeal and some pride. Our lads doing well.

Yesterday LÉ George Bernard Shaw #P64 completed 2 days of exercises with @RoyalNavy @hms_tyne. Mainly conducting manoeuvring, comms, RAS & ship handling serials, this was a great opportunity to enhance interoperability & train our sailors????????????????. L.E. Eithne is due to leave it's present berth on Cork's City Albert Quay shortly where it has been supporting Operation Fortitude since March 20th.
What next for P31 remains to be seen.
Hopefully she'll get her main armament back at least.For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

So basically, she can look after herself.'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.
