They were plentifull. Just after we took over we did a crc exercise with the dubs who were going home.They hammered the f**k outta us.At the end of it all we had a after action review and they told us that what they had put us through was only 50% of the intensity of what they got.I tell you we were glad we got the benefit of their experience without having to go through it ourselves

Heard a rumour about guys from the east (2 Cav 2 FAR) and what they did. By all accounts it's true.... pretty ballsy. Does anybody know who was involved from Clarke\Karhu and what really happened?

Yes it happened.

I heard a rumour in the Brugha a while back about an incident in Kosovo in March 2004 during the riots in the capital Pristina where Irish troops went in under fire and rescued hundreds of trapped Serbs being attacked by armed mobs. The rumour is that they went in under fire several times and were commended by NATO commanders but deserved DSMs from what I heard. Does anybody know is this bull or did it ever happen?
