right,
i've got hold of the brief via ARRSE.
it's nothing as bad as we thought, it covers 2 things:
1. Medical Employment Policy (MEP)
2. Army Recovery Capability (ARC)
one deals with soldiers who are currently medically downgraded and unable to deploy for one reason or another and the other covers how we are improving the care we give to soldiers coming back from the frontline and how we can rehabilitate and return them to service if possible or ease them into civillian life with comprehensive care packages.
i won't go into details until all is released publicly but this is not the bad news we were expecting and if anything, is very good welcome news indeed.

thats good news mate, better cause yous were expecting a bitter pillI knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
