      Mick whelan historian in the Aer Corps

      wrote brilliant book

      was in this months AnCosantoir graduating with a masters in history

      and Air Man

      I would say his intellect and ability beats them all

        Hi HH,
        That's the problem.He's only an Airman. No power whatsoever. He's out on his "21" in a fairly short time and his replacement as the Curator of the Don's Museum is not in sight. It'd be a serious shame if he is not replaced...

              Its a pity that more of the curators of some of the smaller colllections are not given more recognition..kudos to one here in particular as these guys are a fountain of knowledge with access to some great items.
              Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe

                    It's quite acadamic in its promotion of the study of Irish military history. (That's probably the main reason I'm not a regular member.)

                    You should have a read of their publication 'The Irish Sword' found in most good bookshops.

                        Id say theyre the ones doin the typing and that, or could they be trusted!?

                        Atleast theres an RDF Officer in there, that counts for something!

                        Must i have a title/decoration/membership of an order to join such an organisation?
