  • Buster Crabb

    Well well well. An old mystery from 1956 appears to have been finally solved and seems to confirm one of the more prominent theories of that time.

    A former Russian frogman now aged 74 claims that he killed Buster Crabb when he caught him trying to place a limpet mine on the hull of the Soviet ship Ordzhonikidze which had transported Nikita Khrushchev and other leaders to Britain for meetings with the British prime minister Anthony Eden and his ministers.

    See BBC report: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7097646.stm

    Doesn't explain what the British government had to gain by sinking the ship carrying Khruschev home.

          Well that I'd find more believable than what this Russian guy is saying.

          But we won't know until 2057 for sure...

                  at 3 minuets to 9 tonight

                  I cant wait
                  Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
                  Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
                  The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
                  The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
                  The best lack all conviction, while the worst
                  Are full of passionate intensity.

                    Hi there
                    Laurence Harvey played him,in a role about his wartime actions against the Italians in a very good film, with Sid James(of Carry On fame) as an NCO.Harvey was a tall, handsome blond whereas BC was anything but.He looked more like Sid James...Jude Law played Vasily Zaitsev in the well-known "Enemy at the gates" and, of course, does not look a bit like a small, squat, Siberian...
