Great pictures all right, well done on the find.
Real pictures of real soldiers with real holes in their left sleeves....not nit picking in any way shape or form, just an observation.

Interesting pictures, the locations have changed very little.There must lots of this type of unseen photos out there, will they ever see the light of day i wonder.Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe

I'm guessing much of what was worn was surplus stock left over in the formerly british barracks. I understand the type of uniform more commonly seen in India or Mesopotamia at the outbreak of WW1 was used by the Construction Corps during the emergency.
Mostly beige/khaki.
Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.
