Surprising that there is no mention of any WW1 battle in that, even though it is accepted that the First world war itself was the spark that
    (a)Caused the Russian Revolution
    (b)Ended European Imperialism
(c)Encouraged the rise of Germany, and the second world war, which in turn brought about a world order that only recently changed.

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

The Battle of France does feature, as does The Marne. Was there any other battle in WW1 that significantly changed the outcome of that war? The list looks at battles rather than wars.

BTW, WW1 didn't end European imperialism. We should know that.

Fair enough, it didn't end it, however it stifled the growth. The Empires of the 1800s ceased to grab land in the non european continents...

The Battle of Jutland, although a technical loss for the Royal Navy, confirmed the strength of the RN and it's dominance over German trade, which resulted in a crippling economic blockade of Germany, which contributed to it's eventual defeat.
