  • Collar Badge question, RMC.

My Dads aunt served as a staff Nurse with the British Army during WW2, and served in Dunkirk (must have been mental)and after the war in Berlin and Hamburg. I recently discovered a photo of her taken while she was serving in Hamburg, and I am wondering about her collar badge.

It is a ring with a crown on top, and the letter "R" within the ring.

I am hoping the experts here can Identify it, which would assist me in getting more of her military record.

    Thanks

Are you sure it's an 'R'?

                Thanks for that.

There was mention of the QAIMNS on her obit but I just wanted to be sure. The reference was a bit sublime. It seems they had a ladies bowls team after the war...
