    King John's Castle

    The Castle is in Limerick and is a museum. Worth a visit. Some of the displays are well done.

    Louis XIV and James II



    William of Orange and Mary.

    All Royalty associated with the castle of whom only William set foot in the place.

      A council of War in the South West Tower during the Second Siege of Limerick. No doubt they all look so unhappy because the castle's cannons are on the floor at their feet.
