Does anybody have any information on the abandoned airfield in Castlemartyr, Co. Cork. All that is left of it is a water tower and a few brick buildings. My Grandfather worked on the construction of it round about 1912. It was only used for a short period of time I'ld say it was wound up around the time of the treaty.
The only thing google is throwing up is that God awful Cappella Hotel.
