  • WW2 German S Boat to be restored

Here is a fascinating BBC link to a story about a German S boat (torpedo boat) that was captured by the British during WW2. It has been lying in Cornwall for years and it is now being restored in a project expected to take 5 years.

Incredibly they are working from an an old German film (restored?) given to them by the German son of the original builder which gives detail by detail of every step of the build. They refer to it as as an 'airfix' plan.
