  • I Phone APPS

    For those hetrosexuals amongst us who have an IPhone- this app was featured in todays Irish Times.

    It is a really amazing app designed for anyone with a iota of interest in history.

    I dont know if there is a similar app for non hetrosexual andriod type phones- if there is

    the app probably concentrates on clothes shops.
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

        Just read the article there Hedgie, and as someone involved in the heritage industry- excellent app. Hopefully a taste of what is to come. Perhaps eventually there will be an "Irish Walled Towns" app, which would tie in with the Irish Walled Towns festivities.

            I like the 3 D 1500 picture of Dublin,

            I can see exactly where my wife works ( she started there as a young girl)

            and its amazing to see the changes in Dublin

                  I have an iRon. I use it for taking the wrinkles out of clothes.

                    It looks worth getting an iPhone for, hedgie.
                    'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
                    'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
                    Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
                    He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.
