Hello-
While doing genealogical research I have learned that my great-great-great-grandfather, James McEntee, died in 1877 in County Monaghan. On his death certificate he is identified as a "pensioner M.S.T." I do not know for certain if he served in the armed forces, but it has been suggested to me that this might be a military pension. Can someone possibly tell me what M.S.T. means, or tell me where I might direct my question? Any information or suggestions you can give me will be truly appreciated.
The most convenient way to answer is by e-mail at: tscanlan0@comcast.net That’s a zero, not the letter O, before the @ sign.
Thank you.
