A couple of years ago I visited the museum in Foxford which had a lot of exhibits and info re Admiral Brown. However in the yard were a 4.5 deck gun in a turret plus a neutered torpedoe and other items donated by the Argentenian Navy, they were out in the open rusting/rotting away I hope they have since been restored and put on proper display
Anyone know what happened to this gun turret?
It was i assume part of the Admiral Brown Society museum?
Was it left rusting in the park?
i came across a photo of it from 2006 and danno's comment above is from 2010....
"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."
