  • Irish Military Influence Worldwide

I found the following website today which is quite remarkable in that it has links to practically every historical facet of "Irish" involvement in miltary conflicts worldwide.

One can't help but feel proud.

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love."

Marcus Aurelius Roman Emperor (161 to 180 A.D.)

Yes, an impressive site. Brian McGinn deserves full credit but also deserves our support as he led the sucessful campaign in the US to have Irish soldiers who were KIA'd in Korea to receive US citizenship.
This mission was completed recently when Senator Kennedy spoke at the ceremony to grant citizenship. He (the Senator) spoke at length and without notes, praising Ireland's contribution to military matters through out the history of the USA
