I see in page 24 of today’s Indo and ad for Vodafone with the LE Eithne acting as a backdrop.
I believe cases of Irish advertising using the defence forces are fairy rare, but a few that come to mind are:
1) Eircom Call Cards
2) The image of an Irish soldier on UN duty in the Leb an Eircom Ad
3) I believe that a cigarette ad in the 1940's used an image of a Naval Service Sailor
Has any got any others or images of any of the one I mentioned?
