If you see something on sale in the wide wide world that's worth bringing to people's attention

For example RVOPS have Lowe Alpine Sabre daysack currently at a dirt cheap price

RVOps supplies high quality, specialist military equipment, clothing, Lowa boots and accessories serving the British Army and Royal Marines.

"No, they're trying to fly the tank"

      It prob will.

Brit DPM stuff is being sold off cheaply in a lot of places. Now everyone is looking for the new Multicam pattern being used by the Brits, so the market has dropped for anything in Brit DPM.

I being a bit pedantic but Lowe Alpine DPM is Dutch not british.
Lowe Alpine call it NL Woodland Camo. The NL meaning Netherlands.

i was gonna say the same earlier but thought i might get points for dragging the thread 'off topic'.

anyhow - as Docman said - we are getting rid of our old DPM kit now and eBay is full of the stuff.

my mate has one of these and it seems hard wearing - not bad for £30 but not as good as the Lowa kit:

Yeah i've already bought quite a bit off them.

They sell practically everything, including replacement rucksack closures that you can use to fix your bergen and such.

                  This seems very handy.

Its a yoke for securely strapping a roll mat, helmet or SRAAW to the outside of the bergen, and then there's quick release straps so you can just click it on and off.

They've got just about everything in French CCE camo as well, which is handy because i like to try and get stuff as close to Irish DPM as i can.

What kind of delay are you talking about for delivery with these lads?

Well i bought stuff last year but as far as i can remember they were pretty quick. They had it dispatched within 2 days anyway.

Their stuff will get to you a lot faster then some of the sites in Ireland anyways!

EDIT: Bought some more stuff off them recently. The delivery time was only about a week!

Not strictly a military item but would have uses in certain circumstances depending where you are setting up your bivvy i suppose but in Tesco today i saw a set of Secateurs , Pruners for 1.99! Even if you only dont use them for bivvying up still useful for the garden and they were in green no less

Fairly bomb/waterproof duffle bags. They have wet/dry compartments.

                            140L for £70

                            100L for £60

                            70L for £50

They charge £7.50 postage to IRL

They're basically the same as North Face "base camp" duffle bags, except cheaper and with an internal bag for wet/dry clothes.

20% off all North Face gear on this site - mostly civilian stuff, but I'm sure some could find use in Kilworth or the Glen.

Use voucher code "20TREAT" at checkout, offer valid until midnight Sunday.
