Did a current party of government, who currently have the Minister of Defence, not have a section in their election manifesto on a commemoration medal for 2021?

Serious question, will two vessels be enough?
Also, will the EU help in the funding of these vessels?
Change scale of issue?
I'd say this is more statement of fact than idle speculation personally.
On the kit in use with the wing at present, and pictured, I wonder how much of their experience and influence will have...
Now that the NS have their own variant, how long will it be until the AC come looking for their own?
And on the Royal Navy working dress, this from 2015 is worth a read,...
So, sometime between 2040 and 2050 we might see a trial MWD unit! Fantastic!!
A man with experience :-D!!
Back on topic, there is obviously roles defence from EOD, Security, S&R, Tracking, etc that could be covered by MWD's.

A video overview of 1 MWD Sqn, different dog and team profiles.
One thing that does come to mind though, uniform inspection...
But don't have their own. Nor have I seen pics of the Wing working with dogs, given that other SOF units globally do.
Is this a gap, although a minor one it would seem?
Step 1. Randomer suggests a "nice to have" idea on IMO
Step 2. Senior officer anonymously browses and spots idea
Step 3. ???
Step 4. IKON Working Group

Maybe it's the animal lover in me, mixed with the obvious military interest, but I've been wondering why don't we have a Military Dog unit in the country?
The UK has the 1st Military Working Dog...

Dear Santa, I have a been a very good boy this year....
Chicken and egg, if we don't recruit, we won't have a chance to retain, if we don't retain, we won't have the JNCO/Officers to train future recruits.
This is needed now though, like the...
You're 100% correct. Recruitment is the issue, and the time frame it takes to process people in the door. Couple that with the skills we can bring to bear on the Covid battle. At present, the...
If that is true, and as RDF Units are now under the Command and Control of PDF commanding officers, where is the fault?
Valid points. A mind shift is going to be needed for it to work, whether at an institutional level in DF, or a Governmental level by introducing employment protection legislation.
The reserve...
It is down to every unit, in my opinion, to have in house Recruit Liaison Officers with training completed. Reservists need to take ownership of this as much as possible.
Priorities for me:
1. Recruitment - Applications are coming, but the time it takes to turn around application to intake session (fitness and interview), to being sworn in is ridiculous
2....
Last tangent post, but agree with this so much! We went from a time where every FCA/RDF BN had a reserve Sgt Maj, but no RDF officers over the rank of Commandant to five (?) RDF Lt. Cols and one Sgt...
Isn't there still an establishment for one Reserve Sergeant Major? Wondering will he be getting the a cane and training?
Open to correction, but that is the new smock, worn with the hoods removed.
Grat would be nice. Travelling through 3 counties now to make parade is hitting the wallet these days!
New shirts look...wrong...Like something out of a DPM Maternity Wear catalog. Plus the Velcro patch and UBAC style pocket on one side only seems like a missed opportunity.
[EDIT] To clarify on...
