Do many of your lads have them watches or would owning one make you the butt of a lot of jokes? that pattern would make a lovely wooly geansie you should get some made RGJ
nah a lot of lads wear watches like that with pride, to be honest a lot of lads wear the 'G10 for Men', some with a Rifles wristband but no - it would be a prised possession.
will a nice Rifles Fleece do instead of a geansie?!
however on a more serious note though and keeping with the thread, the Suunto Core would be a great bit of kit:

...Once a Rifleman - Always a Rifleman...Celer et Audax
Finally got around to getting a Riseman. It arrived today, very happy with it so far, even despite it telling me that I was 65m underground when I first checked (easily fixed by calibrating it, thankfully)
Are you sure it wasn't bought cheap from a Chilean miner?
'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night. http://www.salamanderoasis.org/poems...nnis/luck.html

I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"
Got me Navy SEALs watch. It actually is a class bit of kit, 200mts water resistant, never needs to be charged from an external light source and looks Gucci.
Looks like that in darkness too. Pretty cool. I thought it would be pretty awkward to read during the day considering it's all black but it's surprisingly easy
