A river search is still under way for missing person, Breacon Mooney, in Cork. Search units involving the Naval Service, Gardai, Garda divers, Civil Defense, Mallow Search & rescue and Youghal SAR are still ongoing.
Members of the public are still turning up on a daily basis to the search center at the Lee Rowing club, for the daily brief and to take part in the search, both on the water and on the river banks all the way to the lower harbour.
Unfortunately this is becoming a more regular event where people are lost, but the outpouring of support from locals for the families of the lost is just outstanding.
Even though it is nearly three weeks since Breacon disappeared, there is a great community service having been built up around this tragedy.
