One of the better COS's I have ever served under
I wish him good health
and best of luck to his family (except when Kildare are playing DUblin)Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

I'd heard this about a month ago from my father-in-law, and the fact that
Maj Gen Dave Ashe has been listed in pictures in the last 2 issues of
An Cosantóir as "Acting CoS" only seemed to back this up
Best of luck to the Chief and all of his family"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"

Had the opportunity to talk to him at a friends Commissioning. Came away with a healthy respect for him. Certainly has the do as I do aspect covered.
All the best to him and his family for recovery"The Question is not: how far you will take this? The Question is do you possess the constitution to go as far as is needed?"
