So, what exactly IS the state of Eithnes air search radar? was it ever repaired / replaced? or is it still U/S, sitting in a room gathering dust, never to be replaced, another capability chipped away as the rest were? Attrition replacements = one of the DF biggest problems"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."

The antennae is in place. There was a tender for an updated user interface recently. Last time it acted in the air role I believe was during the GWB visit to SNN .
It's been a while since I have seen it rotate. Is the ops room still used? For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.
