Are you not using the OSI grid system on it? Which Foretrex do you have?

What colour you need it in?

They're easy enough to get. Just need to know where to look.

MD, have a word with this crowd, they make their stuff and could help you out by making a larger version of their Garmin pouch:

            or

Personally, my GPS pouch doubles as a wrist pouch, but I find it too cumbersome on my arm, and that's with a small 401. Plus, on your arm, you'll probably need to take your hands off your weapon to use your GPS' functions. So I keep it on my chest.

You could try something like this:

thanks for the links lads, will follow up, hopefully the crowd i emailed will get back to me too!

would it be the worst thing in the world to set up a links page for kit, everyone seems to have a different website for kit which is handy

              Again thank you

The 401 can be attached to the Steyr, around the body just forward of the magazine. Just tilt it slightly to read or at worst take use your left hand to operate it, leaving your right on the pistol grip. Whether it's a good idea to have your GPS attahed to your rifle is debatable I'm sure.

Came across this, if you're still looking for a pouch. They offer it as a MOLLE or Pack fitted solution.

I like to keep things simple... I just use a smoke grenade pouch, and attach it wherever I think appropriate depending on the task/situation.

Fair one Jungle, I keep my 401 on a removable pouch on my chest (upper right pouch as you look at it), the pouch can double up as wrist pouch also; although I'm not mad on having it on my wrist, it's a bit bulky on the arm.

I always wondered if you could get an apache-style monocle, wifi'd off yours and your team's locators showing a warfighter HUD, then I thought didn't soldier systems do something like that for Natick, and is it anywhere neat COTS yet ?
