The NS already has seamen gunners.

Why when Giraffe and RBS70 (BOLIDE) works?

Could there be an argument for a better radar? Yes and that would be very doable

    An upgrade would be BAMSE

In some ways Rapier FSC would be a backwards step

Yeah, lets replace a 1970s optically guided missile system with a 1970s optically guided missile system.

RBS 98 is the logical successor. Anti-Drone defence seems to be the priority lately though, if the Azerbaijan experience is anything to go by.

While I agree RBS-98 or CAMM would be the logical successor, they cost a lot and I do not see either the Swedes or the Brits getting rid of them soon.
The Rapier FSC (or Rapier 2000) is a very different beast than the original 1970's Rapier. For a start the guidance is completely automatic requiring no operator input.

they had it and scrapped it. Only the NS have what constitutes an anti-aircraft gun these days.

We need to check the efficacy of the system for NGS-what range, how is target found GPS/and or radar FCS. The operators should be the relevant ships crew. Extra fire power is always a bonus.

It seems that yet again the Ukrainian Army is planning to replace most of their current artillery with the 8x8 Dana system.
While for sure this will allow them to move away from their Soviet era systems it would be interesting to know how their experience in their internal "Anti Terrorist Operation" in the east of their country.

Also to replace some of their tracked SPG's they are looking to Poland:

For small drone the Dutch are testing a system from Smart Systems of Israel, it is an advanced sighting system for rifles to engage drones. Given the abundance of small drone this might become more common.
