Bollocks....Right hand man stand fast.....whats this looking down.......to find his spot! Killed it straight away as did the arm swinging in consistencies.
Nearly as bad as the originals
people getting teary eyed over Irish Cadets carry out drill, As Naval recruits if we had been as in consistent as these cadets carriyng out drill there would have been so much pain attached we would have wished to replace Kennedy.
I don't believe the standard of drill offered by the cadets to be up to the mark for events such as this.
Some of the drill offered by regular units at the events in August of this year in Dublin was indeed superior to any of that offered by cadets.
Its not an anti officers rant, but its a PR exercise for an elitist group, 10 recruits could have done the job... better...but guess what none of them will ever be COS.Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

Yep the look down is woeful. Only reason I can think of for the right hand Cadet moving is to allow for uniform spacing either side of the flagpole. Interesting that a Marine NCO lowers the flag, whereas in our situation, an officer does the job..."Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"

Today eleven retired officers who were cadets in the 37th Cadet Class that formed a Guard of Honour at the graveside of President John F. Kennedy in Washington in 1963, travelled to Washington to commemorate the event. They are accompanied by a colour party of an officer, five cadets and a piper. At a brief ceremony the party will lay a wreath at President Kennedy’s grave on Monday the 25th November and also at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington Cemetery, Washington. The Irish Ambassador to the United States will be present at the ceremony and will host a reception later that day in the Embassy.

take a look at the pipers swinging their arms, really shows up the cadets efforts.
Will be argued that its not appropriate, but when done properly looks...soldierly!Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe

Right hand man had obviously drilled that look down movement. not his fault?"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."
