      we have had the new Ford Rangers for a while now at our unit, pretty good utility vehicle.

        Didn't Maint Eng units have these?

              Ford Ranger seems to be a cross departmental contract award.

              What's the reports on it?

              Wonder would it a viable as a GS & FFR

                i mentioned it on here before; any Govt department that needs new 4 X 4 will get the Ford Ranger and will not get anything else unless they make a special case. that's gen from someone directly involved.

                      I've seen an FFR Ranger from a distance and still wonder where the radio sets were as the rear passenger compartment is quite cramped. The regular GS Rangers are good cars but not soldier proof IMHO
