    So the next time someone (disgruntled CHC employee or otherwise) complains about only having a Lear for Top Cover remember that a CASA may be otherwise occupied or on standby and you won't be reading why on the AC Facebook page.

    Good job all.

        Well done those people, this is why we need a navy!
        This is why we need a bigger, more modern Navy.

        Well done to our Naval Service and to our Aer Corps.
        Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
        Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
        The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***

            Question for you guys, it said on RTE news last night that custody of the yacht was handed over to the Garda when at sea, I thought the Navy has control of our waters and not the civil services.

              It has control of our waters, but law enforcement is still the job of the Gardaí. I assume the NS hand over the ship and crew so the GS can commence the criminal investigation. the NS does not have the resources to do this alone.
              For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

                If CJ were alive, he would have boarded the yacht carrying his Dingle shotgun, Skippered the thing singlehandedly back to the Base, and still been able to hit Paidi's pub for a few swift pints, some sexing of some local ladies and some regaling of the locals, before the film crew finished up.

                  Once he had finished dusting off his own share of the blow of course.

                        As usual the ship that made the bust is the one who get the credit but there is always more than one ship involved, LE Roisin was the second vessel in the op, well done those guys.

                          Don't forget the Customs ship's role in this.
