This is a sticky topic.

The key matter of interest is the linked communications and combat system which allows for a tailored response and weapon choices. It is that level of capability that we need on all of our newer ships to co-ordinate fleet level actions. AFIK we redacted the ops-room features on P31, going backwards, rather than upgrading installed functions.Going forward we need to be aware of the speeds and variety of modern maritime threats.

I fully agree with the point about C4I. I like the LMV, looks like a good ship. But what do we need CPVs for? I'd replace the CPVs with OPVs. Once we have 12 of those (or ships that can fulfil that rôle), then we can talk about other stuff. Also I think everything we buy should have a helo deck and a hangar - even if it is just for a 5t helo

The clearance is done by Clearance Divers of which the Naval Service will have a couple at most. Standard steel vessels with correct/safe distances from suspected mines can deploy teams/equipment to deal with mines in known locations.
The common practice is currently that a USV/UUV will be used for mine detection
As I said something like Sea Wasp would give some capability without the need for a load of space for TEUs aft.
If we wanted more capability you need more space aft for Clearance Divers and their kit and/or a more capable counter mine UUV.
Maybe something like this
