I know I'm not the only one, but jaysis there were moments on that parade that I was almost in tears. Such pride and emotion. What a day.

Clearly you weren't watching it on RTE.
      Clouds
      Flowers
      Sky
someone marching, in silhouette against the morning sunshine.
talking pointlessly about nothing to do with the parade.
Long, google map style aerial shots of the parade.
      Aerial shots of Dublin.
Enda, accompanied by his wife, whom he speaks to on occasion.
Mowag support vehicles of the 2nd Artillery brigade.

      AHHHHHHH!!!!
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

I think he is the DF Press officer.

            Or was at least.

He has that look about him of someone who turned out to be more of a danger to his own troops than the enemy and was shipped off to the Press Office out of harms way. Only to end up causing more harm in the long run .

Think thats called a CLI, Career Limiting Initiative.

He would probably have got away with it if the big happy head on him didn't scream " I met her down in coppers, rode the hole off her in a flat in Rathmines after!".

That hasn't been the case with the press office, its too high profile and the staff there are on call 24/7 on a rostered basis. I'd say you'd be equally appreciative if someone was to judge your entire military career based on 15 seconds of footage that was non tactical and non operational.

Yeah, the Officer on the phone with hands in pockets nearly had me in tears.....and then to get caught. The one rule of thumb when cameras about being, not to get caught.

Poor bastard will never hear the end of this. Might as well looking up the job bridge website.
