RDFRA SDC - Sat 11 JUN 16
While this event is a Special Delegate Conference, it is primarily intended as an opportunity for RDFRA to engage with members in a face-to-face way. Any RDFRA member is welcome to register to attend, and the event will include workshops on various important matters currently facing the RDF, as well as an Open Forum section where members can raise any issues that they wish.
Thank you and regards,
RDFRA General Secretary

Anybody going should famliarize themselves with WHAT RDFRA can actually do, as it is limited by statute. Frequently people believe it can do things it cannot. The schedules to S7 declare what this is"Are they trying to shoot down the other drone? "
"No, they're trying to fly the tank"

What's the courtcase?I knew a simple soldier boy.....
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
And no one spoke of him again.
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

There's a thread a couple of years old about it

Tenner in the bet that there has been an "emergency election" today to solidify certain peoples positions."Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

Alot of things about RDFRA are not valid. For example the "permanent chairman",not having called for an election when the President left. The list goes on."Let us be clear about three facts. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. So.... anyone who was there? What happened, what was discussed, etc?"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"
