Not to get off topic and not trying to be a smartarse.

But what happened to that one that tried to fly home from Africa? Was it ever located?
To close with and kill the enemy in all weather conditions, night and day and over any terrain

"He is an enemy officer taken in battle and entitled to fair treatment."
"No, sir. He's a sergeant, and they don't deserve no respect at all, sir. I should know. They're cunning and artful, if they're any good. I wouldn't mind if he was an officer, sir. But sergeants are clever."

2 Systems.X amount of drones with each system.
"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

I love that the mere thought of us buying military equipment from an israeli manufacturer has the crusty TDs and elected provos weeping and grinding their teeth.

When will they learn that just because a handful of people disagree with the politics of a sovereign state, that does not mean this country must empose a blanket embargo on products made in that country.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

They see how effective our lovies Cultural embargo on Israel (a county of six million Jews) is turning the place into a wasteland.

All for the Irish defence forces having the best equipment but should we be supporting a country who has used fake Irish passports for their illegal terrorist activities around the world. We should have drones and combat drones if we don't get the necessary fighter jets

In fairness we might have to exclude France, the UK and the US from the list of countries we would buy from in that case.

We have inflected our own brand of Terrorist on the world as well, they still trade with us.
