Anyone know are the AR still going to commission our lads this year. I heard its not until next year.
Pity about the gender and not entirely understood as the candidates are selected. Right now it would benefit the new officers if they could get the time to spend 4/6 months on ships to become useful watch officers in their branches and give them professional confidence.
There used to be one female officer in Dublin NSR. As a ratio of the total officer strength, that seems like enough. Also, did any female NCO apply? No gender balance unless there are suitably diverse applicant.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.
