      The parade starts early, and going by our experience, one wonders how early they had to be in situ, never mind where they had to travel from.
      They weren't the only ones either.
      Have to admire how the first faller fell perfectly to the side, at the position of attention without bringing anyone down with him, or impaling anyone on his bayonet.

        I recall a cadet going face down off the wall at the Garden of Rememberance. Not pleasant. Had the same experience myself after some genius decided that the formation should stand in driving rain for 90 minutes and people began to go down...
