  • Last of the UK Ton class

SHE was captained by the Prince of Wales and visited by the Queen during a distinguished Royal Navy career that included important missions for the UK and Nato.

Sad to see. If they can't preserve the Future Kings first command, there sin't much hope. Once she half sank in the Mersea, her fate was sealed. Her problem is her small size does not make her a civvy friendly display.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

The German Navy Museum has a Lindau class minesweeper which is the same size as the Ton class and it was very civvy friendly, much more than the Type 205 submarine which is beside her.

The best option is to prop it on dry land, cut holes in the hull, and let people access that way.
