Gardai have land sharks. Customs have no role for them.
For now, everything hangs on implementation of the CoDF report.

I was in Kenya last year when one went missing in the bush.

Believed the hyenas got it...big search op put in place but it was never found.

Fair few people were quite badly cut up about it...not least the handler.

Dev, you are both making no sense, and contradicting yourself at the same time.

Military dog: Specific military tasks such as ied search, flushing out concealed enemy.

Police dog: 2 main types, Active Sniffer and attack. Latter known worldwide as land shark and fur missile due to the nature of the attack.

Customs dog: Passive Search only. Customs have no role for land shark or flushing out concealed person. Not their Job..

Oh dear, no. All land sharks are dogs, but not all dogs are land sharks. Some are minnows.

                    Not a Landshark

It was the year of fire...the year of destruction...the year we took back what was ours.
It was the year of rebirth...the year of great sadness...the year of pain...and the year of joy.
It was a new age...It was the end of history.
It was the year everything changed.

Someone I know (non-military) was involved in an multi-agency exercise where “Them” were providing ATCP / clearing up after CivPol had done their best and failed. At EndEx, one of “Them” was standing with a impressive looking dog on a lead, and my mate, a dog lover, was admiring the dog from a distance.

He says to the handler “Can I stroke him?”
“Only if you want your balls ripped off” was the reply...
'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
                      Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.
