Came across this on EBay. That was listed as used condition, and the price quickly went from 99c to what's shown here.

I'd say you could get a new one laser engraved with the logo for less. Were they properly on issue ever? I think I've only seen one in the hands of a PDF officer.

Anything not nailed/concreted/welded down on DF soil is considered fair game by some.

Do a search on eBay for Irish defence forces. Some lad in Kerry has his 1916 medal and service medal up for sale. Sickens my shite so it does. Plenty are still waiting on theirs and that prick has the balls to make a quick buck on it. Raging

I went into an Italian restaurant and ordered dessert and they gave me tiramisu and a blindfolded horse and I said No, I said mask a pony (mascarpone)

Having names and numbers engraved onto the back of medals would almost prevent this.

Dumbass has the ribbon clasp backwards, relative to the medal, i.e. the front of the clasp is aligned with the REVERSE of the medal... plonker....

Check the description he put up for this "defect"...

Rare Fault Irish FCA Reserve Army Service Medal And Ribbons in original box with Presidential citation card and original ribbon!

The medal and Mounting bar have been issued reversed. Never seen before.
