Tom O'Grady died in a RTA last night he was 21 and a member of the Aer Corps. Very decent bloke, I went to college with him before he got his Cadetship in 03.
RIP
Removal is tomorrow from the house at 8.
Burial is at 2 on Monday.
The two men who died in this morning's road crash in Co Waterford were Thomas O'Grady and Robert Lineen, both aged 21 and both from Lismore.
They were back seat passengers in a Honda Civic that collided with a wall on the Tallow Road in Lismore at 1.45am this morning.
Three other young men were travelling in the car - one escaped relatively unharmed physically, while the other two men were treated in Waterford Regional Hospital, but their injuries are not life threatening.
Mr O'Grady was an Air Corps cadet and Mr Lineen was a farmer. They were friends who had been to school together.
My deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to both families.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.
