Never seen anyone crib about it myself, anyway

That your GP thinks that you are fit to complete ITs and/or the anything on the list on the AF14C

            Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has a pdf copy or photo of the fitness standards that they could PM me? Looking for part 3 in particular.

            Thanks in advance!

Your unit should be able to give you a copy it should not be a secret

I was looking for a copy last night for someone and won't be at my unit this week. For some reason details on fitness standards almost seem to be restricted information on here....

Perhaps because they are contained in a Training Instruction(TI) which is a RESTRICTED document.

if you have specific question PM me .
"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

People use that classification out of laziness, so much so that it becomes almost useless as a classification (But that is a debate for another thread). AFAIK it was published in Connect.

                      Thanks for help. PM sent.

Could be useful information to place on military.ie but I guess it would cause confusion with the differing recruiting fitness test standards.
